Clemson OF Web cam Cannarella ejected in additional innings vs. Tennessee

Clemson baseball centerfielder Web cam Cannarella played a big part in Saturday’s extra-inning video game in the Clemson Regional in between the Tigers and Tennessee at Doug Kingsmore Arena. However he didn’t get to end up the video game.

Cannarella was ejected in between the top and bottom of the 13th inning after an interaction in between himself and Tennessee’s Zane Denton following an inning-ending double play.

Clemson coach Erik Bakich verified after the video game that Cannarella will be suspended, by NCAA guidelines, for the Tigers’ removal video game on Sunday versus Charlotte.

The Tigers and Vols were secured a 5-5 tie that consisted of a psychological ninth inning. Clemson lost a 4-2 lead with 2 out in the 9th on a Denton 3-run crowning achievement. Cannarella’s RBI double connected the video game in the bottom of the inning.
